So I'm looking for a fancy restuarant in Durban , Ballito or even Toti preferably over looking the ocean. Any suggestions ? Must have good food and a nice atmosphere.

Wonder if the Mykonos is still around. We used to go there every time we went on holiday when I was a kid. I have been there about 10-12 years ago. They were great back then.

Mo Noodles is one of my favourite restuarants.
Mo' Better Noodles 031 561 1722 Shop 8, Beacon Rock, 21 Lighthouse Rd. Durban Kwazulu Natal

Mo Noodles (Umhlanga)
Beluga (Gateway)
Le Troquet (Westville)
Olive and Oil (in Glenwood)
9th Avenue Bistro (if you want REALLY fancy)
Little Havana (Umhlanga)
BarbaCoa (Umhlanga)

Mykonos is gross now.

Is Mo's Noodles/Olive and Oil really fancy though?

I agree with most of that list and add Harveys (moved to Umhlanga, awesome food).

Thanks guys, Little Havana and Mykonos interest me so far :)

Not Mykonos. Little Havana has a very good reputation, but I was disappointed when I went there. I do believe it was an off night though.

If you want to go really fancy try the Sugar Club at Beverly Hills, or the Grill Room at Oyster Box, though the atmosphere might be lacking. At least at the Oyster Box, you can head up to the Lighthouse Bar after.

Mo's and Olive and Oil aren't fancy, but they're very nice.

You could also try the Curry Buffet in the Ocean Terrace in the Oyster Box... its fantastic.

http://www.mozambik.co.za/ rustic theme but the food is great

Thanks , all of those look awesome!

I ended up going to BarBaCoa, not that fancy but a great place with awesome atmosphere and the food was decent.

I Really want to visit Little Hvanna next , also Olive ,Harveys and the Sugar club.
