Green chili dip/sauce ?

Hi

Does anyone have the recipe for the green chili dip sauce used by Spur and Ocean Basket ?

Its usually served in a very small round glass bowl. The dip looks as if its just sliced green chilies and water ?

I have been searching everywhere for the recipe, but most recipe sites only have a recipe for a dip with a thicker texture.

You can make it a million different ways.

I do it as follows (well my version at least):

Slice and de-pip the chillies. Wash it in some salt water.
Heat up some olive oil and a little bit of vinegar, and add some sugar, salt and pepper.

Add the chillies, heat it up until it simmers, then pour this into a pre-treated and heated glass bottle and seal. Let it stand for a while (at least a week).
