If Damir comes to visit, I'll for sure buy the beers in Cape Town.

But they've got as nice coastal areas in Croatia. Spent some time at places like Krk (yep, that's the name of the island, maybe Damir can explain how to pronounce it!) and can vouch for the weather and quality of the beer! :)

I actually have two friends in Joburg that is from there. They a couple and the one is a Croat and the other one is a Serb. They showed me some pics of Croatia. Damn it is beautiful there! And apparently the ciggies are dirt cheap there! lolz

It is a stunning country. Was riding through some of the small towns on the Bosnian border and it's quite disconcerting to see people living in homes with hundreds of bullet holes and even the occasional cannon hole.

It brings the war eerily to life.
 
My knowlege of english isn't so good hehe, yes it was war between ourselves and serbs, serbs wants to get a part of ours teritory, long story like everywhere where serb lives are serbia, but serbs are here just minor with all rights like us, but it's still croatia not serbia, didn't all serbs were for war and didn't all serbs bad guys but **** happens

about signal yes is good on my location around 200m from cell station but montly cap is just 10GB for 20 euros every GB up is 40 Euros for me on contract, we're waiting LTE comercially next year here (early tests by my network (Vodafone partner) here in Zagreb on 800Mhz shows around 137Mb/s DL and 38Mb/s UL,
but i personaly wants more traffic, speeds are good enough and now for me hehe
btw i got just zte k4505-z not huawei e372 to show you dual carrier speeds here, i'm in the middle of contract now, but next one (next year) is some LTE usb modem and if God give i'll test
once again SORRY for my bad english, cheers!!

R200 for 10GB on a mobile network? If we had that here we'd be smiling. At 2c/mb surely that must be unsustainable? I see however you also get hit by the (Out of Bundle) OOB Shark. Honestly when will that rubbish come to an end.

Uh will be hard to explain for me on english, will be much easier on croatian for me, because i was never learn english at school,

mine contract is now 10GB=149.50HRK=20.1018 Euros
after 10GB 1MB=0.29lp (lipas(lipa part of HRK croatian kuna(1/100))=0.29lp x1024MB=296.96HRK=40.1460Euros for one GB
these prices are from 1.1.2011.
btw t-mobile like a concurrent here offers now on contract 3GB for 125HRK=16.898Euros and 20GB for 200HRK=27.037Euros (but without HSPA+ network here just 7.2Mb/s t-mobile goes here direct next year at LTE without HSPA+ AND DC) have poor reception at mine location (around 1.10Mb/s DL with 3.6Mb/s stick and upload is till 0.384Mb/s)
ok, prices now isn't too much high like before especially on contract, like a 100KB for 6HRK=0.813Euros on mobile phones before i don't recall correctly when maybe 7-8years on EDGE signal on prepaid

got probs with vodafone software and zte k4505z RAS errors, disconeting etc... now using zte join air for zte k4505z and was disable vodafone mobile broadband network adapter in device manager not modem just network adapter and no prob with RAS and disconeting... i'm on 7 ultimate now sp1

i don't know now if you understand me anything? mine english is catastrophe:) i can understand but got prob with english grammar and don't know many words. :)))

Out of bundle means you have used your discounted data (10GB) and all the data you use after that will no longer be discounted and you pay out of discount rates (out of bundle) and these rates are usually significantly higher than the discounted rates.

Your English is just fine :)
 
That's a good deal you got going there. I see you've also got the same accountants Vodacom use. 10GB -> 12GB costs extra 6.70 Euro. You would be better off with 2 x 10GB accounts.

The OOB Shark is a bit of a joke here. Out of bundle for us is what you call "Rate for additional transfer volume". Here we often have people who use more data than their bundle and then have a large account to settle. It would appear at least yours is capped at 100Mb?

You write damn well for someone that was not taught English at school....so dont worry about that. Damn...10Gig for R200.00. My God....that is dirt cheap!

I can't use 2x10GB even one contract on my name and one on name of my wife but will be two sim cards etc...
yes if i spend 10240MB i can get for free another 100MB, but if i spend more i'll pay and those 100MB, i can spend 100GB but i don't have that money hehe

btw great stories about lovely zte k4505z but it works now, vodafone vmc and vmb is the problem and famous second device use... RAS errors i think it's vodafone network adapter, so i disable it, and i'm on line now and without him, i was solved prob on that way, for now... i can hold connection for a hours, but one more thing, he knows just lose HSxx signal and goes to EDGE, i'm on the auto mode not on only 3G for this case, but after a few minutes allways alone come back on HSxx signal, not go in EDGE every day but, i will lose connection in that momennt if i force only 3G in software, and anyway join air starts up much faster, vmb 10 or 10.1 is too slow at start up

Thx you very much i'm self taught with dictionary help sometimes, yes it is but my earnings is just 500-600 euros for month i'm working in printing house, here ordinary people don't have earning like 1000-2000 euros hehe

That can happen if your HSPA signal degrades to the point where your modem decides it will be better to switch over to 2G. Best advice is to set the modem to 3G only mode or get a high gain antenna to boost the signal. If it's not happening a lot then I would just force the modem into 3G only mode.
 
Not! if i forced only 3G at that moment he's just starts red blinking but if i set auto mode he's got "back up" by EDGE and connection is sill alive, after a few minutes again swith on HSxx on its own

EDGE is by MDMA on my location max -51Dbm, HSxx between -81Dbm- -70Dbm, EDGE is allways stronger, because it's 2G, beter goes thru walls etc
and you need just one 2G base station or "tower" to cover up some area, in the same area you'll need a few 3G, because 3G have inferior range :)
