GridHost / 1-grid server still down.

Nearly two days now .... No update, nobody wants to chat. No phone number.
So much for Gridhost and uptime.
Sadly I need them to complete the restore before I could move elsewhere.


We are currently experiencing an issue on one of our hosts servers which is affecting shared services as well as some hosted virtual private servers.

Please note that our system administrators are attending to the problem.

Please note that we are still busy with the restore of data for srv20.hostserv.co.za. This is taking longer and initially anticipated.

eish not good, i use them too and the service has gotten really bad. Had mails mysteriously disappear and when I contacted them they restored it. They then tell me the mails were always there and there are no mailserver logs for me to get. Makes me uncomfortable about the way they run their services.

Can't wait for Azure to land, will move my ZA hosting over. Busy moving email to 365 already
