There was one at AAD2000 if I recall - it was the absolute star of the show. That and the SU-27, of course, but the 35 is just a beast. Would've probably cost us a 5th of what the Gripens did.

I remember that airshow! Still have my old VHS tapes of it. 5pm flight at Waterkloof - it was a Swedish airforce jet.

AFAIK, Denel have customised our Gripens slightly...

So big and they have so much power!!

F14 is not designed for dogfights in the first place. It's an interceptor armed with the ultra long range and super expensive Phoenix missiles IIRC.

Only place you might be able to get an F-14 from is Iran. The US decommissioned all their theirs and put them through the shredder so parts don't find their way to Iran.

Page is blank and it says "done" on the bottom???
