Group photo ideas

I'm trying to organise a photo of a group of friends but I want something fun and interesting. We're 5 guys living in a commune and we want decent pictures to remember the time we spent in the house.

My one idea is something where everyone is doing their own thing. Like a single frame from a busy video scene if you catch my drift... I want to find out more on this method but I don't even know what to call it. Several failed Googles later, here I am. Can you name this style or give advice on how to achieve it properly? I couldn't even find any good examples, but I know it's out there.

Are there any other great ideas you can think of? Even fun variations of the old school line up in suits photo.

We have a good photographer with proper equipment at our disposal, we just need to give her some more ideas.

Did the other 4 ''guys'' agree to this or are you planning a suprise cos I've been and known many people in communes and I've never heard of this ****.

By the end of the year you're gonna all wanna kill each other anyway so the last thing you'll want is a reminder of their faces.

Geez you're a bunch of negative people. Most of us have chicks (who will more than likely be in the photo too) and the one guy is gay. Doesn't bother us. We're good friends who've stayed together for 4 years already and this part of our lives is fast approaching an end. We just want something to remember it by.
