Probably not the most correct place to post this, but it is relevant for my usage. Groupon has a deal for today, in which you pay R100 for a R200 Takealot voucher. Pretty cool so far. Consider that the pre-order price of MW3 on PS3 is R549 (and Black Ops used to cost R699 when it was released), you can pay R449 to get MW3 delivered to your door on release. Pretty sweet deal, I say.

They clearly state only one groupon per purchase. Still an excellent deal though

First ever Groupon deal I bought, really cool deal (first/best one seen so far IMO).

Wonder if there is a maximum limit (know they usually have a minimum).

The number of deals bought are sky rocketing!!
 
This morning you could still buy as many of the vouchers as you wanted... they have now changed it to one per person.

Luckily i was one of the first this morning.

Christmas shopping... Done! :-)

Sold out at 3307 deals, what an odd number??

Shame, loss to Takealot if all buyers only buy for R200 (3,307*100=R 330,700). Pretty expensive marketing (or not?)
 
Well, with their free shipping they must also be making a loss at the moment, but they are becoming a more serious competitor. Kalahari must be worried :D
 
I recently bought BioShock 2 from Takealot (import from UK) with free shipping!
Much cheaper than the Market option from other sites, plus it is due to arrive tomorrow/day after (scheduled time was only 9 November).
Will see what quality the product is (should be new/sealed).

Wonder what I could buy with my Groupon voucher... maybe G-force (Xbox) and the new Lion King (collector of all Disney animation movies)... so many choices

Used their importing option many time, mainly for manga, havent had a problem with. IMO they are much better than kalahari.
 
Just used my voucher. Wish I'd bought more when I had the chance :cry:

bought 2 xbox games for R 260 = Total R 360 - R 200 (groupon voucher) + R 100 (groupon payment)

Thanks For that math, without it id never figure out how you got to pay R260 shew life saver
