Computer retailers will probably be pulling the currency card again now. Not withstanding the fact that their stock was imported at the stroger currency.

Thats no fair - especially with existing stock

*EDIT*

Gonna give them a chance to change the website, otherwise going to force the issue (too much coffee this am)

Willirob it is your right!

It is also their right not to sell to you or state that that batch is out of stock and the new batch is at a new price.

Ja - but they still advertising on the website at the lower price.

In fact if I buy through the website using safeshop I will get the website price surely?

Most online retailers will have something like the following to cover them:

"We strive to advertise all prices and illustrations correctly at all times, however, the management of Makro cannot be held responsible for any changes or errors that may occur."

oh well - will stick to my trusty CRT on principle then. Usual SA wimpiness prevails

quite right. Offer to sell, accepted by you.= Binding contract in most cases...

Actually no. Advertisement is just an invitation to the consumer to make an offer the advertisement is NOT an offer in itself. Therefore there is no binding contract.
