I had this game on my Samsung Galaxy SII for a few months and the game is amazing. Then my phone got wiped (long story). So I downloaded it again and when I want to start the game it wants to upload (333 MB) updates (only via wi-fi, which is the method I always use), but it gets stuck at 245MB and after many tries (10 at least) I cannot get past this.

Anyone experienced this?

it eventually worked after about the 25th try.

I played it on the iPad but I didn't like waiting up to an hour in realtime for the car repairs to be done. Since you like this you might also like Real Racing 3 which is coming out at the end of this month and will also be free-to-play like GT Academy.

Maybe you just had a bad connection?

I played the Hyundai version but not the Free+ one. Not a fan of gameloft's IAP. I bought the full one(No waiting) off Gameloft via the wap store on a 2 Games for $1 option.
