GT220 problems

Got a little problem.

today i installed a new HD into my brothers computer.when i was done plugging it in i started up the computer to find that the screen stays in power saving mode.i tried different screens but with with no luck.the graphics card seems to be on because it's fan is spinning,the screen's blue light goes on for about 3 seconds then turns yellow.

any help?

knocked it loose when i was busy plugging in the data sata cable.

Does the motherboard have onboard video? Remove gfx card and try onboard video. Or try a friend's gfx card in the machine.

Also try reseating the gfx card, make sure it's in properly.
