GTA 5 to cost how much!?!

Hi everyone,

Got an email this morning (and according to various websites) stating that GTA (Grand Theft Auto) 5 is going to be selling for R799 on Xbox 360 and PS3! I was shocked to put it mildly :wtf:

What are your thoughts on this? Does it seem a fair price for a game the size and scope the GTA5? Will it create a trend for other companies to hike game prices?

I think considering the size of the game it's worth it.

You guys seem to forget MGS4 was a grand at one stage.

It'll be cheaper on PC.

Couldn't agree more, I played GTA 4 little over a year after I bought it.

Based on? Afaik they never said "GTA5 not coming to PC" - same rumors ran amok with GTA4. But back to the topic... I would never pay that much for any game. I'd rather wait it out. Even though GTA would be worth a premium on the price imo.

Last time i checked GTA franchise is games for windows, off course it will come out on PC platform, otherwise they might as well shoot themselves
