How much mb's is it going to download if I install the game?

I actually bought the game today, but I have to use my cell to connect to internet at home?
I don't have a bundle or anything so I have to pay for every byte.

Well, the latest patch is 98.5 MB, not sure if that includes all the previous updates though, as I keep my game patched at all times. Also, this is for the PC version, you didn't mention which platform you're using :)

PS. Awesome game btw!

+1! Especially the multiplayer (guess I shouldn't mention that though if you're usiing the cell to connect).

You are also from Gordon's Bay if I recall correctly, right quicksilver? The latest "GTAIV_MAINTENANCE_UPDATE_1004" is ~97.7MB, you'll need that and the latest GFWL client. Got both already. I'm on the free mweb uncapped atm too, so I can download whatever else you need to get GTAIV up an running.

How much did you pay for GTAIV by the way? Cause there is an all-in-one DLC/expansion on the way that might have saved you some $$$...

Great (sarcastic), I paid R200 at BTGames.

The installation went surprisingly easy.
The only internet connection needed was to check if the key was valid.

The guy at BTGames said I have to go online to save the game, but this is untrue.

I already had a Windows Live Account with a "Offline" profile. I just skip the login of the Social Club Thingy and no problems playing the game.

I can remember I had to bring my PC to work(adsl line) to install Windows Live.

PS. where can I get the DLC?

Yep, you can save just fine using an Offline profile. Some people will disagree with us of course, but we all know that it works just fine. The DLC ... check out my other thread.
