GTA IV needs Internet connection to work?

Hmmm... That could be my axact problem. Will look into updating it once I have finished my Windows 7 download and can go back to international bandwidth

what do you mean "go back to your international bandwidth"? can you swap between them? :eek:
 
ja i reasearched that later today, i thought he ment swap between his caps on one hellkom adsl line. geuss it was to good to be true
 
Hey guys,

How do you go about switching off the online aspect to the game. Everytime it starts up it says i have to install the latest version of Windows Live - do you really have to or can i some how d/c it? I dont have much bandwidth left for the month so cant afford the 40meg download. How i play now is i d/ced my router and start the game up but then i can never save.

Please any help. Thank you

Nope , GTA IV needs Brains to work.
 
GTA IV needs internet connection only when installing the game... After that you play offline... Also if u dont have SP3, try running the game in compatability mode (windows 2000) and it should work fine.

And you dont have to be online to save your game.... thats nonsense
