has anyone played this on PS2 and on PC? Ive got the PS2 version just wondering if its worth getting the PC one, also ive allways felt GTA is better suited for the console.

yeah i have it on pc and ps2. its more fun on console, hands down, but i found if i used a joypad on pc i could sort of replicate it on pc. pc has better graphics obviously and the radio thing has been tinkered with, also there are 4 more secret missions on pc and xbox than ps2, oter than that its the same game. one thing with pc is if you play with the keyboard and mouse its way too easy at times, you don't have auto-aim anymore but you can just do headshots all the time with the mouse.

Its hard to say which is better, i played ps2 alot, pc i've just done the storyline and xbox i gave a bit of playing, pc looks the best, anti alias and high res is yummy and theres no more crap nerf textures, ps2 is good gameplay wise, because you only get one type of control its like the steering in cars and all that is just tweaked perfect for ps2 and its got the best control hands down, xbox has better textures but **** anti alias and the controls are different, you gotta get used to it. also the xbox one shows a loading sign for everything, like gettign a haircut, changing shoes, working out and some cut scenes.

ps2 is still cool but if you can get pc one with a joypad because it looks awesome, graphics are an important part of this game. Oh yeah and the pc one has more bugs due to diff configurations, for some its sound bugs, for soem its textures and for some theres stuff like you explode a car and it looks like theres not a scratch on the paint.

There's a lot of bugs in the PC version, that's for sure.
I haven't seen the PS2 version, but I would imagine it's a lot more bug free.

There's some damn irritating controls in the PC, but also some great ideas.

One of the most irritating PC movement bugs is when you exit a car, sometimes the direction CJ runs in is completely wrong - it takes a second or two to get him back in the right direction.

One of the best aspects is being able to look 360 degrees around you when driving a car - I don't remember that being possible in GTA:VC.

The game isn't as cool as thought it might be at first, I'm impressed with the scale of the environment but dissapointed with vehicle handling - it's not as much fun as GTA:VC - everything feels a LOT heavier and cars tailspin very easily. I suppose they are aiming for more realism, but I've had to get used to controlling vehicles all over again.

The radio stations so far are nowhere near as funny and because I'm not a fan of rap/soul music, I don't enjoy the music as much as GTA:VC either.

But it's got some interesting elements and fun aspects - I've got a long way to go in the game and I'm taking my time over it.

matt is that with full driving skill? because if you get a nice tight car and high drivin skill the driving can feel good

its a huuuge game though

I'm still in the early stages - I play about 30 mins to an hour a day, so I haven't really hit the better cars yet. I've only just completed taking over the one section of the ballas territory and currently doing the Cop missions (donut place) - the current one is the russians/ballas dock job, which I easily got through until the end, when a guy your supposed to catch ducks out the back door. I left a bike there, but in true GTA style, it was nowhere to be found - I'll know next time to hop in the forklift :D
