GTA San Andreas MP

I got the GTA SA Multiplayer Mod with tha April issue of PCF. I installed and ran the server, I also made a remote console. I click on connect and the game starts up but stops when connecting to server with the message: The server didn't respond. Retrying... I can't get the lan up and running. I tried google with no sucsess. Does anyone have a link or an idea of fixing this?

Check that either Windows or a firewall program isn't blocking it
