I've posted this once before, but since we have a dedicated section and some petrol heads may have missed it, I'll post again.

My brother ordered one of these units from www.wantitall.co.za a few months ago and it cost just over R3200.00 landed. It measures 1/4 mile, 0-100, max KW/torque and connects to a PC for graphs (eg http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=1812&size=big&cat=&ppuser=7981).

To date the fastest car we've tried (reef, 2 people) is a Touareg V10 with 0-100 of 8.1 one way and 7.7 the other - and a 15.6 1/4 mile and max power 189kw/620nm ... quicker than a previous shape S3.

Accuracy of the above http://www.gtechpro.com/accuracy.html

Wow, I'd love to hook that up to my Panda. Dunno if the machine can register figures that low or slow, though.

wow those gadgets are awesome, id love to know a standing quarter mile time...
Also you can test your different setups with it i.e tire pressure, octane, weight reductions...

very cool indeed.
