Gti 6 vs Scirocco 2.0 Tsi

Guys just for the fun of it. Which one would you go for and why. Lets say you dont have a problem with boot space of either and the fact that the other one is the 3 door. Just the outside beauty since they have the same engine. Which one is nicer?

I was actually in this situation a few months ago, deciding which one to buy.... ended up going with the Scirocco, couldn't have been happier!

Too many Golf 6 GTI's on the road...

For me it would be the Scirocco, its by far the better looking of the two and like bboy says they are not nearly as common as the GTi's.

I can see th Scirocco is winning this one. Hhahahaha funny why there are so many Gti's on the road than the Scirocco. I think a Scirocco is for the car enthusiast not just any guy on the street. Only the guys who know the history of the Scirroco and who couldnt wait for it to come to our shores realy go for it. To be honest I'd be confused, one day I love the Scirocco more the next I think the Gti is better looking.

Get the Roc. Take my word for it, they have the same engine.
The only loss might be the GTi sportiness and bits, but the Roc is not that under specced!!
Also hard to believe but the Roc will depreciate a bit more...
But the .:R versions of both are out soon. Then its easy take the .:Roc!!
I'm hoping for a Roc with the RS3 2.5T engine!!!!

if you like a Gti, you don't know much about style.

a roc is 500x 'prettier' but its still aggressive looking.

i would actually recommend the scirocco to people if it wasn't a VW

Given the situation, Scirocco. Golf 6 completely fscked up the reputation VW built up with the Golf 5.

Revo had the Rocco and the G6 GTi next to each other...the G6 GTi was white with 20" Hellios wheels...and the Rocco was red with what looked like rieger wheels I think...anyhoo...if ALL G6 GTi's came out with Helios wheels...the G6 would take the flag hands down!

Thing is that RS3 engine is staying with Audi, they dont want to give it VW. Only going to be in the RS3 and the TTRS for at least 3 years. Great engine though!
