GTX 680 - Help in Buying Needed

I am looking at buying a GTX 680, but was wondering what is the best Brand and price for it?

I was looking at the "PNY GeForce GTX 680 XLR8 Enthusiasts Edition" any negative feedback on that?
 
Are you into overclocking GPUs? Maybe look at the Asus one the voltage has been unlocked not sure about the others - although it is more pricey.

You are going to need better cooling to do that - the OC editions already comes with better cooling. Some also with better VRMs.
 
Can you get that KFA one for cheaper than R4700? Because the links on Carbonite said R4699... in which case I'll still take the Gigabyte one.

The only reason I'll consider the KFA2 GTX 670 EX OC over the Gigabyte one would be for the 2x Dual-Link DVI + 1x DisplayPort ports, which would allow me to run 3x 2560x1600 screens :D

The cheapest one you can find given that the warranty is at least 2 year.

This almost never works because firstly it will work out to be more expensive given that you must still add shipping costs and import costs and lets not forget the 14% VAT. Secondly if the card fails you are going to have a problem getting it swapped out given that it wasn't bought locally.

+1 on the 670 OC
Interesting though is the powerusage.

What is interesting is that contrary to what I would expect, even without overclocking (only the factory overclocking) the GTX 670 always consumes more power than the 680

Agree, I think anybody that purchase's especially the Gigabyte gtx 670 OC will share the same sentiments as what has already been been discussed, I manage to push 1302 on the core without any artifacting and yet she only reaches 55 degrees on load. That's just insane performance but the deal breaker for me is the windforce cooler, whisper quiet under normal load and slightly audible @ 55 percent fan rpm under heavy load.

I think the Asus Direct cu11 will outperform the Gigabyte but the margins are negligble and not worth the price increase, almost R1000 more.:)
