From what I've seen of Satya so far, he deserves that much at least.

He is pointing the company in the right direction and making the right noises. Also, given the fact that the last 2 CEO's had multi-billion dollar shareholdings in the company, Satya is actually being paid a pittance, and so far seems to be doing a fantastic job.
