Guess Jannie`s plan.

He's probably going to switch you to ADSL. That would be my "cunning plan" and then take commission off of it...

Not sure, latency problems to be addressed or update files to be hosted locally? Then give free local bandwidth for game updates??

nothings going to help package wise until they sort out their internal routing.

229ms to the speedtest server in jhb. Which is 30km from me, maybe even less.

+1

make their internal network fast and then get p2p/rapidshare to work.

You sell internet? let's download then!

I must say, for all the problems I have with iBurst, my online gaming performance isn't really one of them. Apart from occasional latency spikes, I generally get really reasonable pings.

please let it be 280 kbps (throttled speed) and a new firmware update so our modems hit 2 mbps...

more cap wouldnt hurt either ( my 3 gig of cap is gone in 10 days ) from just gaming !!@!

I'd like to suggest that they look at taking their freaking redirect page off...I love loading a site to find it redirects me to the iburst page to buy more cap?!

I'd like them to start providing an actual internet connection, that isn't down 3/4 of the time...

They have to at least be comparable to that price cause otherwise they in for a tough time.

iBurst released some prices a few weeks ago and it was about R250 a gig or something... do you really think they can even come close to R29/Gig Topup prices with their shoddy network? i think not.

I said iBurst was sinking a while ago - thought jannie could change it, but I think i'm staying with my original guess....

jannie said himself that iburst is barely staying above water as it is, so you are right - TOUGH TIMES AHEAD for iBurst.

You see, these Afrihost guys came outta nowhere from some unknown company and because they were willing to play ball they have gone from Zero To Hero in 1 day.....

You sell internet? cool - then let us download. stop fscking limiting us and lets get some gigs flowing. those guys said "when we start to move more gigs we will pay even less for data as we buy in bigger chunks"

They have clever guys working there, the other ISP's are just too dumb to see that if you wanna sell bandwidth, then SELL BANDWIDTH.

giving your topup's INSANE prices isn't gonna get you more money - it's gonna give you less.
yeah, you might fool a few dumbasses - so goodluck with your dumbass internet users.

Exactly, not to mention that the less you charge per gig the more people will use the service, lower prices will advertise for itself.

So its october. Any more guesses before we hear what the big plan for gaming is ?
