Guess that car

I wasn't around, but google seems to think differently:
There are plenty of 1948-1950 98 Futuramic convertibles around, like this one:

See what happens when you look at pictures on a tiny screen at work! I could have sworn it was a convertible...NOW I see the black roof!! :o

OK, no more hair splitting. It's a 98 and the Futuramic name was really only used in adverts - give it to the first person who called it a 1950 98, if you want to be fair.

AHA! We are into TeleVision Repeats...:D

This one built in 1972 but registered in January 1973...;)

You need to give the full name first :p

1972 TVR Vixen S4 :D

The S4 actually had a Ford Cortina engine that was slightly tweaked. Then you had the Vixen 2.5 with a V6 which was a total little monster...

Are we allowed to post just a tiny portion of a car?
Thought the whole car or at least a large majority of it had to be in the image?

I mean I could just post a picture of a door handle and say you need to guess the make and model and year of that car... :(

I'm going to go with Buick as make for now...

EDIT: from the image you gave us it could be any one IMO but I'm going to go with 1946 Buick 76C Roadmaster for "guessing's" sake...

Buick it is! Sorry, I've been away on a 4x4 course all day! :D

@d7e7r7 you can use a small part of a car, provided it's an easily recogniseable part of that particular make. This Buick bonnet emblem is well known in motoring circles, like the Rolls flying lady or the leaping Jaguar.

A simple picture of a door handle would not do unless it is easily recogniseable as belonging to a particular make of car.

I started the game so I set the rules...;) :p
