I didn't want to start a new thread, as I'm sure the usuals of this thread would be able to help - but what's the exact model of the following attached car please? 
I think its an Austin or Mini - but something more definitive would be appreciated please.

To be exact it's a 63 or 64 Austin 1100.
The Austin grille is wavy, whereas the Morris had a straighter one.
This is what I learnt to drive in! Also owned three along the way.
P.S. _ Just to add, seeing I am now wearing my Anorak - this was also the first car to have hydrolastic suspension, which gave it the most beautiful gentle ride - back in the days when cars had leaf springs and solid axles it was like wafting along in a Rolls Royce!

Shot - seems to be an Austin.
I'm toying with the idea of buying one.
Am looking for a daily run around car and this one caught my eye.

This engine has been out which is not a bad thing - should be green by the way - not Ford blue!

Spoke with owner - sounds like a young kid - said on the phone that its the original paint job from the factory - mmmmm....

Absolutely genuine!
The engine should be dark olive green. I think I have a pic of BMC green on another engin

Yeah - this is kinda weird for me - I've always wanted something vintage or vintage like.
My uncle used to have Mini's and I always dug them.
I mean - I'd preferably want an Austin Healy - but I can only dream at this stage.
Looking at options at just under R15k at the moment - anyway - don't wanna derail this thread - thanks again

Not a derailment at all - I would have put a picture up of one of my 1100's years ago if I thought that it might stump someone! Made my day!
