Calling it a GM covers your bases whether it's a Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Hummer, Isuzu, Opel, Holden, Vauxhall, Saturn, Pontiac and probably more that I don't remember/know ... so Technically a General Motors Statesman HQ de Ville would've covered Chev/Holden/Isuzu in one go.....technically

FWIW: GM's partnerships & dealings in Brazil, China and Russia makes for some interesting reading...
