The replacement for this car was released the year that I was born!!
Guess that that means that I was born in the Dark Ages...

Had a rethink on this though and I remember my uncle restoring a similar car if not the same some years ago....it it a Jaguar Mark V, somewhere around 1950'ish?

No...I know my latin, which is why I changed it from 4 to V, knowing I've got my model and spelling wrong.
That was a very nice car to drive...and why, because you really had to drive! My uncle used to restore old cars, the MK V being one of them along with a '57 Chevy Belair and a few others.
