Guess that car

Hi All!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Corsair

Good to see this thread is still active!

Alas, I am not too active at the moment.. thus... I nominate the next person to reply to this thread as the next car-guess-poster! ( I KNOW I am right about the car!)

P.s. It is related to the Cord above as it shared the same chassis... I think I read that at the link above... :)

Kudos - that was rather quick!

OK...International sites again, at last!!

The guy who posted this on Flickr got the name spectacularly wrong....I need all the info please :D

Always very dark when it's a car probably 3 times my age. ;)

Oh dear...I always forget that I'm dealing with youngsters!:o

The replacement for this car was released the year that I was born!! :o

Guess that that means that I was born in the Dark Ages...;)

Lol...Dark Ages perhaps, then again, I'm probably exaggerating when I say 3 times! ;)

Had a rethink on this though and I remember my uncle restoring a similar car if not the same some years ago....it it a Jaguar Mark V, somewhere around 1950'ish?

Erm...I see that you didn't do Latin at school! ;)

4 = IV

5 = V

And if you need the full story...yes, it is a beautiful Jaguar MkV :D

Over to you!

No...I know my latin, which is why I changed it from 4 to V, knowing I've got my model and spelling wrong. ;)

That was a very nice car to drive...and why, because you really had to drive! :) My uncle used to restore old cars, the MK V being one of them along with a '57 Chevy Belair and a few others.

Mmmm....I have to think for a while...anyone looking to post in the meantime, feel free.

Erm....very easy....you are supposed to make me sweat, not just post a picture of a Morgan plus 4!! ;)
