Sorry for the delay...the beeg weend took out our power yesterday afternoon, and we are only just up and running again.
OK...the Peerless...my mate managed to get one of those 325, as did my Grandfather when he bought a brand new one in 1959.
This particular one has quite a bit of history attached, including being raced at Le Mans. He managed to pick her up like this 5 months ago, as a rolling restoration (The original owner died) for 5000 pounds, so she will be back on the road very soon!
Nice Googling guys!! Over to you...![]()
No way!!! Cmon, I'm not playing when you're here ha ha!
How can we handicap Fazda? Three cars right means it's your turn?
Lol... to be honest, I have learned so much with this thread - kudos to whoever started it and thanks all for making it alot of fun.
Interesting...that looks like a Jag XK engine AND it has a supercharger bolted on front.........Lister??
LOL. Had to go look it up quickly.
Jaguar XK engine...check
Supercharger(s)...check
Lister...nope
I have no idea who raced supercharged Jags apart from Lister.......maybe it's time for the youngsters to do some research...![]()
A BIT sneaky???
I am now trying to find a photo of the car that my dad thought of building as a one off in the 1940's....![]()
Hey...you posted a car that was a 1 of 325, so I figured 1/324 would probably OK as well. And then followed that right through to the logical extreme.
Lemme know when everyone ready to give up.![]()
This one may have been a bit sneaky![]()
