1955 Pegaso Berlinetta Model Z-102

Good enough for me.

Pegaso Z-102 B 2.8 Saoutchik Coupe.

Not sure about the exact date of the one in the picture, but they were manufactured between 51-58.

And damnit, she's pretty!

1956 Pegaso Z102B Saoutchik Berlinetta
Talk about rare, only about 125 Pegasos, which were known as the Spanish Ferraris, were built in the former Hispano-Suiza factory in Barcelona between the 1951 Paris show introduction and 1958. All were powered by DOHC V-8 engines of Pegaso's own design, ranging in displacement from 2.5 to 4.7L. Some were capable of propelling the light Pegaso to 150 mph, qualifying it for a short time as the fastest production car in the world. This swoopy long-hood, short-deck Berlinetta body was coachbuilt by Saoutchik of Paris. This one now lives in Monterrey, Mexico.

BarFly, I nominate whoever posts below this... I am having serious Windows errors and will probably be off-line until tomorrow! Time for me to become a barfly on my own methinks!

.... wish me BSOD luck guys!

Good luck on the W7 story!

It's too late for another one from me, so I'll check back tomorrow :D

Not a difficult era at all :D

Ok..Chev gets it rather than Ford, now start thinking laterally...

Hi again... briefly back again before another BSOD. My laptop has a hardware issue... something is failing... it is not RAM, I suspect HDD controllers. Grrrr. Don't go holden your breath for a special guess from me... it may be a while.

Back to troubleshooting again... have fun here.

BSOD in lappie could mean overheating. Is it new? How is the CPU cooler?

Hi mbp... It is a 6 year old HP lappie :D It is one of 2 nx7010's I own. Not a single problem with them in 5 years. sigh. I doubt it is a thermal issue, as this morning it BSOD 45 seconds into boot. I restore from an Acronis image then all seems to be fine. Then 5 hours later I move the mouse, click on a link and BSOD. Mem test is clean. I have other self-booting diags to run... just takes so much time! I have a feeling it is the HDD controller or discreet VGA chip.

It dies instantly without an event log. So nothing to read. I have done a fresh install on XP and also there, win32k.sys is corrupt and no-go after a while, or it reboots into low-res VGA mode, then BSOD.

I will be getting the other nx7010 back from a family member on Monday... so will swap things around then and try and identify. *sigh*.

It has served me well and has been a loyal appliance! It shall be missed if what I suspect is true. Time to shop for components for it or take the plunge and replace....

BUT, I am derailing this thread! Yeeeeks. Sorry blokes. Off to find my diags utils....

:(

Why does Mazerati spring to mind?

If it's not that, then I think there was a very fancy Alfa that looked like that too....
