The question is whether this one has a sting in its tail or not!! ? ;)

I t was at this point that Ford started naming their car after every star sign they could think of...except Aquarius!!

Not so sure...it does have the lines & size of the 90's Taurus (and left hook) but the nose is more Sierra-ish, so probably a late Granada or Scorpio for France or Germany????
Or the US version of those....Mercury or Merkur....??

OK 1988ish (Mercury) Merkur Scorpio.

It's a mess trying to find what they actually called the thing. It is really just a Merkur (the US Scorpio and Sierra - that flopped big time) but it was sold at Lincoln Mercury dealerships, so was called Mercury Merkur by most owners....Americahns and their screwed up system of creating a new brand for a new model and then killing it once it doesn't fly....think Hummer.

edit: here is yours: http://thegarageblog.com/garage/wp-content/uploads/scorpio.jpg :D:D

If that's classic British then it must be something perhaps based on a Triumph, the way the Peerless was...

Coachbuilt or more correct coach modded.....I thought you would get it from the door/dash section which was left quite standard .... not Triumph, which would make it .....

Not a Jag, no....thought you guys would nail this one real quick....

Jacques ?????? was a Belgian coachbuilder
