Guess that car

I was always sorry that the Aussies never sent that baby over here. Apparently you could fit a 45 gallon drum in the boot!

Now are you shy guys going to name this beauty or must I do it again ? ;)

Its relative could hold the 45 gallon drum...

If you know it, and you have a stinker... then identify and be damned!

LOL... heheheheh...

What I meant to say... was, let he who has another car lined-up, that will result in a hunt of note, identify this car and do it right away, despite the "threat" of Fazda!

Say what??? :wtf:

EDIT: Drat! See! Too late.

Lol... well too late - Fazda did it... Go Fazda...

Okie Dokie Tarraa!

We have the very rare, rarely spotted Australian Leyland Force 7V Coupe! :D

Oh, you just happened to know that now... :) ... indeed yes! Only 8 of the 80 made remain. Rare and not that unattractive as far as British cars go... at the time.

The more famous variant was the Force 7 coupe. They built around 80 of this good looking three door hatchback, most of which were scrapped when the P76 was cancelled. Eight survived and are now spread over the globe.

The P76 ceased production in Australia in 1974. Production continued in New Zealand until 1976 and all up they built a total of 18000 vehicles.

The P76 was no better or worse then the Kingswood, Falcon and Valiant. Although like the majority of British Leyland products of the era, the P76 wasn’t a bad car, just a badly built one!

OK girls, here's an easy one, just to prove that I don't always post stinkers! ;)

This car belonged to great friends of my folks...the picture was taken in Northern Rhodesia in 1947 and all I need to know is exact year and make! :D

And, no...it's not British!!

Well... he looks male, human, she looks female, also human... will have to work out exact date now that I have nailed the make!

And technically, Rhodesia 1947 = British

Lets see...
The people are Hugh and Dale Parry.
He still does the cooking and she still does the gardening even though they are 96 and 86 respectively.
The car is a Buick... not sure which one though :o
Going to take a guess and try Series 50?

Heheheheh...

I would say 1941 Chevy rather than Buick... I have a blind spot when it come to Buicks.

That boerie braai grill just says fleetline to me.
