That's what I thought as well but yes that would be to easy. It actually pre-dates the AC Cobra by a year and had a bigger engine than the first Cobras with de Dion tube suspension in the rear and design based on a older Ferrari..

LOL, the stole the wrong design! The pontoon fendered TRs were not very good aerodynamically. Maybe the heavy engine stopped the front end lift?
