Guess that car

What clues?

Ohh I'm not sure, maybe these??;)

Year first one built was '55, this one was raced around '60's. 750 class.

We wouldn't be looking at an Abarth here would we...?

Not a Fiat, but don't they look like twins...maybe the same guy penned it...;)

Hehehe it looks like a squished Zagato Aston with Italian side-vent-thingies !

This one follows on an earlier theme. I will accept two answers as the body was the same for two variants.

I couldn't bring myself to hack at the beautiful image much so the honour system is in place as always

I've owned some sort of Alfa since I was 18 (yes, I know how to swing a spanner :o) so will keep quiet..BUT once we have the answer someone HAS to post the Youtube Speed clip of this car. Nice post.

Oooh, while searching for that critter I found some very purdy cars including a Alfa Romeo 8C

No idea. So just guessing here
Looking at the dash and especially the painted/sticking out like a sore thumb gauge cluster it screams kitcar, so too the rear lights that has the bottom part painted white??
Twin pipes - V8??

I wouldn't say kit car - that windscreen is very like a Daimler Dart - so whatever it is was designed towards the end of the 50's....................

Crud... I stumbled across this looking for something earlier this week... dogknows where.

I remember the rear and thinking about the Mazda Cosmo... might this be related... off to Google it is.

Not a kit car. The company was still around till the 90's when it was taken over by another company and the brand disappeared.
Yes, it had a V8.

I can't actually find much information on this particular one. A renowned automotive engineer was at the head of the company and they also have a paris-Dakar win under their belt.
