No announcement on the hosting pricing today yet (you'd think they'll do it in the morning?)

This just doesn't bode well for Monday re: the promised ADSL pricing announcement
 
Um, is Friday over yet?

I heard they were gonna do it in the Afternoon, at least that's what they said last night.

Why would you do a press release... in the afternoon... on a Friday before a weekend? That's just lame
 
Guess some people here jump to ridiculous conclusions :(

um, because they can... and because there is no set rule that they have to do it any other way.

Are you maybe just a tiny little bit impatient? :p

Requesting that or retracting anything takes away from the original thread and it's purpose. Why would I want to go "tail between my legs" for this? They still late with a half-ass statement. I expected something bigger

I don't think when you expect something to be released makes it late. They issued it on Friday like they said.. definitely didn't lie at least. +1 to bad thread.

The promised to announce their new pricing on Friday. Not Friday morning, Friday. You may have expected something more but that also does not make wamatt a liar. He said they would announce the new pricing on Friday. They did. I don't see how any of this makes him a liar.

*shrug* I was excited about the new pricing being announced. If you need the name and number of my lawyer, I'll send it to you so you could sue me for that.

However, after the announcement, I'm not so sure anymore. And I don't know about you, but I'm in the "web/hosting" business, so it was kind of a big deal for me.
 
Dude, you got all excited and the annoucement wasn't that big. I don't recall WA ever claiming that Friday's annoucement would revolutionize anything.

The fact that you've come to expect such high standards from Matt's annoucements does say something positive about him/WA though...

In essence, don't blame anyone but yourself.
