Hi

I would like to know how i can have 5 standard Decoders sending signals to 15 TV sets and each TV set with an option to change/choose to view any 1 of the 5 channels being broadcasted by each decoder

Thanks

Its the installation and hardware purchase i need to do myself, i contacted MChoice and they referred me to some installer who want to charge me R25k. I'm well aware of the commercial packages

DIY? Maybe go to the suppliers like SAMSAT and Ellies to get the equipment and advice on how to install.

That is not what he needs FNfal.

evansjaji, without knowing the exact layout, I can't say for sure, but R25k for 5 channels to 15 screens sounds a little excessive. I design systems like this for a living. You should not be doing this DIY.

My offer stands. Send me a PM with your location and e-mail. I will put you in contact with 3 installers, for comparative quotes.

...and Space TV. They have the best technical department

EDIT: But not one of those companies will get involved with tech support on this type of DIY. This needs to be done by a pro.

Someone has suggested i use modulators as here ( http://www.ellies.co.za/index.php?id=2988 ) connected in series and then the final RF Out to an amplifier which is then connected to a 2 way splitter that feeds into an 8 way splitter
or
Loop the RF cable from the first decoder into 2nd and 2nd into 3rd etc then at the last decoder i connect the RF out into the amp then splitters

Would this work??
