Guild Wars Complete Collection already out

I was kind of disappointed that the complete collection only has one key for all the games, instead of separate keys, in case you already had one, but at that price it was well worth it anyway

please explain the bit about the single key...

i'm getting an ADSL connection so i decided i'd try an MMORPG and where better to start than GW (...no subscription fee!!!)

So should i buy the complete edition or start by just buying the original GW (... GW Prophecies ... http://www.take2.co.za/games-guild-wars-prophecies-pc-1396264.html)

Will this "one key" disadvantage me in any way.

(sorry for the noob questions ... it's cos i AM one!)

You install it once and add the key and all games will be available. This is a bit crud for people who have 2 of the 4 and can't give the 2 games that they already own to some one else. It will have 100% zero effect on you if you are a first time buyer.

Different campaigns has different characters to play with and different weapons and skills. Weapons can be bought cross campaign but skills must be obtained in the specific campaign unless it is available in more than one.

Since it's damn near impossible to get separate copies of Prophecies & Nightfall, I'd say go with the full pack.

It includes the 3 base chapters (which you can play any one of - standalone) + the expansion:

Chapters:
- Prophecies
- Factions
- Nightfall

Expansion "GWEN":
- Eye of the North

The RoC guys on here are very helpful and will explain a lot to you if you aren't shy to ask.

For you the full pack will be perfect.

A single key which links all 4 campaigns to one account, instead of having 4 separate keys when buying the 4 campaigns separately and then being able to create 4 completely standalone accounts, i.e. not linked (bad idea imo).

Yes, buy the full-pack, it is what you want (and need) as a newbie :)

No, it won't disadvantage you in any way (quite the opposite in fact).

And Yes, RooK is correct in his above post, but it is not relevant to what the person asked (in quote).
