Hello boys .. girls and other!

Ok here is the deal, avid GW player but sadly not got a router called Netgear DG834G. We got it working and all of a sudden the thing does not want to connect to Guildwars, it does not even go past the long on screen.

I have seen some archived posts but I have no bloody clue what "flagging the ship" means. All the ports that need to allow GW to function like a normal game has been opened. Paragon had the same problem and seemed to have fixed it yet I could not find what the man did.

I am starting to have withdrawls please help

Thanks you

still having a problem?
port 80 and 6112 opened?
Tried doing a -diag on the launcher?
Reinstall GW?
Redownloaded content into gw.dat or maybe replaced it with another one?

There should be a step by step process on the GW website that should tell you how to open ports on your router to allow GW to run.

Indeed there is.
Just go to the Support section and look for "GW Ports"
There are bound to pop up several articles ranging from your ADSL router to firewalls / ports.
If all else fails do a -diag switch and log a request to ANet and supply the results to them from your -diag.
