Still waiting for my copy from Take2, spoke to sales and said shipment should be comming in 1st Tuesday of next month.....coming from UK

Guild Wars Server

Hi,

I wanna buy me the guild wars game and I was just curios... do u guys play on Overseas or South African Servers?
 
All the servers are linked (US, Euro and Korea) so that one can play with (PvE) or against (PvP) players from other countries. Having a local server would therefore probably not be that ideal from the overall GuildWars perspective.

Southern Storm has players on US and Euro servers and we play together regularly.

Most of the guys that "defected" to the American servers have now moved back to Euro again. We've found that there is sometimes lag when playing in international districts - also, Euro has same amount of favour (according to stats) as America between 6pm - 11pm. So why not play Euro I say? LOL
 
I must say, the halloween update in Guild Wars really looks great. They even expanded the size of some of the towns to accomodate the huge parties going on.
 
Yeah ... the Haloween content, especially the Pumpkin helmets are/were cool!

What region you guys playing on? and what solution do ADSL users use for best latency?
