Guild Wars on Mac

Hi all,

Just want to know if Guild Wars will work on my Macbook if i install it via Bootcamp. Also how much data will it use since im planning to play via my Vodacom 3g account.

Macbook with 2 gig duo core and 1 gig ram but with the intel onboard graphics

Dont wanna go through the whole bootcamp installation thing if it wont work

Dont worry about the connection though, there are people playing guild wars on dialup
 
Ya internet cant be a problem

I've played on sentech 256k Wireless for months and my friend played on 56k for months also! And downloaded the sorrows furnace thing also with no problem...
 
depends what you mean "typical session" hehe

Well in an instanced area, you will use less than a kb a second

In heavily populated towns i see it rise to 2-3 kb/s (max, usually i get 1 or 2)

Thats download speeds, upload speeds will increase usage but i do not know the figures
 
500mb should be enough for a month. It all depends on what kind of addict you are. :)
General bw consumption is very low / hour. in the region of <10-20MB / hour of play. We used to do 25-30MB for about 3 hrs with 3 of us on the same connection.
As mentioned above, some towns and outposts are busier though and due to this your bw will go up.
