Guildward on Linux / Wine?

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

I use Suse 10.1, with the latest NVIDIA drivers, on a PIV Daul Core, 1GB RAM, GeForce 7900GT, yet I can't get it to work.

It loads in Wine, and I can vaigly see the logon screen, but it's very very dark.

any suggestions?

Play it on Windows.

If you do manage to get it running and play it on Linux / Wine, I bet it won't be as pretty

The Latest Cedega fully supports GW.
Wine you'll need to hack and slash a bit.

Last I heard, GW did not work in Wine. Might have changed since however.

Cedega seems to work better with GW. The game itself should work perfectly with your pc specs.

A few problems that irritated me though:

1) getting the game to work properly is time consuming.

2) loading the game as well as loading areas take longer than in windows.

3) the text spacing seems to be too close, especially the chat window

The graphics look nicer though.

I ran it on this system Dell XPS M1210 T2400 CPU @ 1.83GHz geforce go7400 1gb ram running Gentoo 2006.
