Hey guys, does anyone know where they sell the gunnar glasses in the gauteng area?

And anyone has any experience with them? Do they work??

Funny you should bring this up, I was going to start a thread after seeing a ad in a NAG magazine.

I wonder if they realise we've moved on from CRT monitors? The photos they use of the serious looking, chiseled dude is hilarious.

Hey Atom,

I can get you a pair. I have yet to load them up on the site, but if there is any particular model you would like, I can help you out.

I have mixed views on them to be honest. I have used them, and I feel they do make a difference. But only with FPS games. With the slower stuff, I really can't tell the difference. I too believed it was all hype, even after reading interviews with pro players who stated they wouldn't use them if it wasn't for the sponsorship.

But, personal experience sways me towards the use of Gunnar.

I haven't paid attention to the Ad, but, perhaps it is a CS player? They still use CRT in gaming tournaments.

I turned my brightness down from 100% to 75% (LCD) and my eyes don't get sore any more. Maybe you should try that before you spend quite a bit of money on these glasses.
