Obvioulsy if you are a fan of GW your natural instinct will be to defend your beloved game, but hear me out first.
I used to play WoW a game where the world has no end, whether your in a town, or out in the world there are always other players, friendly and unfriendly walking about.
So many times I would be out questing and out of the corner of my eye would catch a glimpse of an enemy player trying to sneak up on me, and its a fight or flight scenario.
Occasionally I even joined masive battles where the Horde and alliance would fight it out in the open world.
Then GW came out, (no monthly subscription) how could I resist.
I honestly felt betrayed when I played this game, on first impression the graphics are amazing, it seemed like the world was open like WoW cause I was in a city full of people running around.
Then.... I left town, I was on my own, the whole world is an instance, it feels so dead, so lonely...
The outside world isn't really a world, its a series of tunnels with the roof painted like sky, I would get to the end of a cliff and there would be an invisible wall preventing me from jumping off. (IF there was even a jump) and I don't mean /jump
This doesn't feel like an online game, there is just a group of us in the entire world walking around, this should be a LAN game.
