GW2 client via alternative mirror

Hey there guys.

So I have eventually purchased the game.

Problem is, for 2 days now I have been trying to download the stupid thing. Bought a cd key off an overseas website. It keeps stalling at about 40-60% and I have to restart!

I have 2 torrents going of the client but 2 or 3 seeders which is taking forever @69kbps on a ten meg line

Does anyone know of any mirrors out there that still exist with the full client available via http? I am im Vereeniging if anyone has it this side for me to copy as well?

As far as I can tell the downloader for Guild Wars 2 continues from where it was last downloading. So even though you might restart and it says 0%, it is showing you the percentage of the files remaining. Keep an eye on the count of files remaining.

If you know anyone with a GW2 install you can just copy the GW2.DAT (about 16GB if you are up-to-date) onto your install. GW2 is a pain when you initially install, it will suck down some 200K files. The best option is to install the client, let it download a bit, then find the GW2.DAT file and overwrite it with the 16GB version. Then restart the client and it will do a "self-repair" and you will be ready in 15-20 minutes.
