Hi guys

Need some advice / help with regards to Win 7 power configs & UPS.
Ok so basically i have one of these RCT 850VA UPS, connected via USB...it uses the ViewPower software to control the UPS functions.

My Media server runs on Win7 (previously ran XP and was used as file server)
Now how i use it is basically let my PC go into hibernate mode by issue in the command, and then the PC would save everything open and power down, and afterwords same will happen with the UPS.

But could not for the life of it get it to work that way on my Win7 setup.
The PC would go into hibernate mode and then the UPS would just stay on and continue to beep and not power down.
(i waited a few minutes just to check.) as far as i can remember it use to be instantly after the attached PC shut down.

Also have a weird issue where the PC would reboot right after coming out of hibernate mode.

After some Googling, made a few changes and disabled Awake timers as well as Enable = Hybrid sleep. (Still need to test with these newly made changes.)

I checked in the BIOS and under my power settings it is set for S4/S5 ( i can't recall seeing S3)

It it is weird since as far as i can see the UPS is working fine since he keeps the PC alive for quite some time so the batteries are still fresh and weirdly on my previous XP setup everything worked fine.

I have attached my configs below, and according to my logic it should work fine...i am pretty sure it is just something small, a setting or two somewhere, but i just for the life of me figure it out over the weekend and pulling my hair out at this stage.

Any help will greatly be appreciated or anyone perhaps running a similar setup or that has some advice will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks for reading and in advance.

Peace
