My bulb blew and I need to replace it. Are there any suggestions as to which bulbs to get? I was thinking of just buying 2 and replacing the other one as well while Im at it.

I dont want those fake xenon looking things, just a good bright light.

Also check the Philips range , I just fitted this in my car and is way better than OEM bulbs.

Day and Night difference, excuse the pun

Thanks but this is the second Philips that blew.
I did an Amazon search of the highest rated h4 bulbs, whilst waiting for delivery I bought and fitted the phillips. Still in my wifes car.

Just checked it was in June 2019.

This should be obvious, but if it's not:

- Do not touch the glass of the bulb..
- Make sure your light housing isn't loose and rattling whilst driving.. Filaments don't like to be shaken, they are not martinis..

I also had an issue with bulbs burning out quickly so I decided to try out the LED Bulbs. Bought a cheapie set from the China Mall in Centurion just to make sure that it worked. Fast forward almost 16 months and the bulbs are still fine. And the plus is that they are way brighter than the OSRAM night breakers that I had fitted before.

Maybe you should go install it for him. @The_Mowgs isn't very technical.

The other day I was taken aback when I needed to replace a H7 bulb on my daily.
Prices went through the roof for known brands!
Walked out with a R25 no-name bulb and still driving with it today a few weeks later.
I'm looking at getting the LED H7 drop-in replacements now

I usually use these surgical gloves when handling bulbs but thanks for the reminder.

I have these for over 3 years not.
Unlike cheapie ones these have a nice beam pattern that does not blind oncoming traffic
