I have a rather critical cloud based app with high availability requirements, possibly looking for some type of redundancy - not sure if anyone here has had much focus on such a setup, if so would appreciate feedback.

Lots of solutions, EC2/AWS route, Heroku (would be my choice), etc etc. All depends on what you want to do, budget, and how much you want your app to be able to scale. PM me if you need more info, I work with this on a daily basis.

We use Virtual Servers, their clouding solutions offer massive amounts of redundancy and they own the actual hardware they use to host. They allow you to create virtual machines on the fly and re-distribute resources while the machines are live.

Virtual servers don't have an uptime claim but offer some cool monitoring tools for an additional fee

Hi FatBoySlim,

I work for the Managed Cloud Team at Rackspace, how can I help?

We do not have a HA product for our Cloud Offerings, but there are ways we can help you make your solution HA.

I would suggest dropping me a contact number or email address via PM and I will be in contact with you.
