HA: Water tank level sensor options

Industrial water level senor. AKA 4-6 stainless steel rods at varying levels. They conduct power which get amplified to 3-5v depnding on your needs to for digital pin reading.
I got the Tank last month. Busy building the Sensor as I am expanding.

Ultra Sonic Sensor inside 5 000L JoJo tank, works like a bomb

Yeah, I 2nd the Ultrasonic Distance sensor. I had one like that running over 2 years with no issues (but then I moved).

Is the ultrasonic sensor attached to some sort of ESP8266 solution then?

Do you forsee any reason it wouldn't work inside a 1000L? The only reason I could think of is that it might be too narrow? Do you have a link to the one you have?

no issue at all, I use it in a 3L milk bottle, you need to callibrate a little bit.

Good explainer:

Even waterproof ones:

Can buy them from DIY Electronics, Netram, Robotics org, any place really, unsure who I left out, uhm, Yebo, but they are expensive now, uhm Communica, PiShop, Botshop, Mantech, probably Takealot too.

Thanks! And then using an audrino and esp I should be able to use it as input to HA to control a WellPoint pump?

A very simple type of switch.

How it works
This is what I use, but it's only a switch. It cannot tell you the level.

A switch is all I need really. The wire looks quite thick, what do you have it plugged into or is it wired directly into your wellpoint circuit?

Wired directly into the circuit. Ideal would be a contactor, but directly also works.
