Security expert Bruce Schneier has warned that a group is probing the defences of critical parts of the Internet.

#3 What is the chances of this being a Chinese led power measure to prepare for WWIII?

Basically he's highlighting the increase in DDOS attacks

I wonder what the 'security expert' stands to gain personally from increasing fear levels

It's like a security company in an area warning that crime is on the increase. It may be true but it's hard to find the source credible without trusting their motives
