Hackers have developed a scheme to steal sensitive information from top executives by penetrating the Wi-Fi networks of luxury hotels

This is a major worry. I am very nervous about using hotel Wi-Fi. Am implementing a VPN for the mobile this week.

This has been going on for years. Sofar I spotted people at Jozi and Cape Town airport as well as Sandton City running Wifi Pineapples - I know who they are as I took pictures and managed to find them on LinkedIn - dimwits

All the more reason why I like more sites to be SSLed. And I sure hope the HSTS policy get adopted, sooner rather than later.

For others out there (Linux users) better get your get a VPN going or look at using sshuttle.
