Had adsl 2yrs back and considering it again?

I had adsl 2yrs back, was on slowest they had 512 or something, I then cancelled and got dstv hd instead.

I'm considering cancelling dstv and going the streaming and download route.

The budget can accommodate around R700p/m for telephone rental, adsl line 2mb and a 2mbs uncapped account with isp.

Can I avoid installation charges?

I live in East London and the last time had to wait 3months as there was no adsl port available, who would I check with?

Yes you can, just ask them, there's always some sort of call saver or whatever that has no installation fee.

From what I am seeing, they recommend a 500k download speed. That means on a 4mb uncapped, you will probably max out your line, is that correct?
I think you would really need 10mb to have decent quality

Also saw that, I would think just the buffering would take much longer?

What I wanted to know was whether I could load up Hulu or Netflix before I go to bed, queue up what I wanted to watch, then the following evening "watch it back to back"?

I mean like when I sometimes watch Youtube, I press play then pause then when bar is grey all the way watch the video with no buffering interrupting me?
