What is "The Headless Helm"?

Its a drop off the headless horseman a seasonal mob who spawns in the SM Graveyard. In celebration of Halloween so I dont know if the EU servers are doing this. I got the flying broomstick 
. If your server is in celebrating Halloween get a group together (lvl 70) get to the SM Graveyard and start the quest.

I got every possible drop now from the HH except the pet.
Anyways the helm dropped for me but I also found a new guild which need me as a healer so its going into my bank for now until paladin retri tree gets fixed.
The 3 warriors who ran the quest with me might not be happy when they hear i just specced holy the same day i needed for the helm.
Although in my defense i can say that i really didnt know i was gonna spec holy 20 mins later.
Anyways I did ateast get a chance to step into Kara last night for the first time.
We got prince to 50% which i think is not bad.
I got every possible drop now from the HH except the pet.
Anyways the helm dropped for me but I also found a new guild which need me as a healer so its going into my bank for now until paladin retri tree gets fixed.

Good to see you got into a nice raiding guild now
You have to keep in mind to be flexible with your character and spec to the needs of a guild when it comes to raiding. Once you guys come to morogrim in SSC you will be required to respec to tanking spec etc.
Its the raid leaders responsibility to get the BEST classes for the best job to ensure his raid has the highest rate to succeed.
In general most hybrid classes that can heal, are most of the time expected to heal. Pally's have it the worst. I think you fell into the old trap of wanting to play a dps class, and at the time when you rolled a pally, you were not sure what they end up doing in raiding situations end game.
I see this happen so often, and people try respec etc to try and match raw dps classes, but when they get thrown into the solid DPS classes in a proper raid, they get left behind on the DPS meters.
Anyway, shout if you need any help on Bloodhoof (when I am not raiding that is). From time to time I help them out as well in raids. So I might just see you in some of your raids

I had a hard choice to make last night. Had to choose between staying dps with DND guild or Healing for SA guild.... well as they say local is lekker.
I was responsible for the main healers (2 of them ) overhealing a couple of times but its because i was asigned off healing and i just healed where I saw there was hits going through. Im surprised that the guys didnt know what a pala can do though. I really smiled when i told them that i can do a full heal every 40 mins (lay on hands) plus what i forgot to tell them is that lay on hands also give target + 30 % armour for a little while. Also as mentioned in other post , they discovered that there something you can about enfeeble ...pala bubble cures the debuff

Yes they dont have any Pally's. Pally's bring awsome buffs to the raid BoM/BoW/BoK is really damn nice to have. As for healing, they are insane. In a emergency situation, pally's always come through with their fast heals. Thats just the problem, they are such powerfull healers + mana efficient class, they are expected to heal for that reason !
The guys in the guild you are now, are very laid back and relaxed... nice bunch of guys. Even my GF was doing kara with them last night for the first time. The prince has some nice loot waiting for you guys.

Yeah most of them didnt even know most of the buffs like blessing of salvation (- 30% aggro). I really got thrown in the deepend last night and now and then i still caught myself setting up to storm the guys until i press my button that was linked to BOM and i end up healing myself and realising i was following on habbits

Nope she is in the n00by group doing Huntsman / Moroes / opera event.
Also healer, but Priest. Its their second raid team. Also very laid back relaxed people.

Those freakin totems hurt badly
I tried my best and i do think i did not too bad.
Apparently the guys wanna do curator tonight. (dont know if im part of the group , we will wait and see .
Do you have any pointer on curator for incase i do join them ?

I dont remember any totems in Kara? Infernals yes. And people should not die of infeeble, so the bubble every 5 mins should not be needed asp since 50% of the group is enfeebled
Curator is a dps race and mana intensive for healers to keep the whole group fully healed. If you did prince to 50% which is usualy after Curator the group should have no problem with the Curator.

But thats the reason why I only do instances with my guild.
Well I had the same chance of not getting the helm as ever single one in that group.
A retri paladin has just as much use for that helm as a warrior.
I can even remember a blue poster saying that he got it for his paladin.
Im sure if blizzard wanted this as pure warrior helm , the would have limited the class on it

You have a perfectly good right to it if you said from the start you are looking for the helm, it was then up to the warriors to decide to compete with you or join another group. But like I said stuff like this I dont PUG and we will pass for the person that needs it the most, guild spirit is about the whole guild not the individual.
