I am in my mid-20s and have been experiencing hair loss since the age of 19. I am now mostly bald from my front to my crown in an almost triangular shape. Loads of hair still growing on my sides.

I usually just shave my head, then I look fine. But I'd love to have a full head of hair again.

I have been looking into reversing therapies for my hair loss. I came across this website: http://www.advancedhair.co.za/

They seem to have hair transplants available that may restore my hair to how it should be. But I'd like to know from people who actually had these treatments. Does it really work? What prices are we talking about? Are there other companies offering similar treatments at lower prices?

Where did Jacques Kallis buy his new hair?
Looks pretty good.

Advance Hair Studio......... a friend of mine went there and it is the place that did the procedure for Jacques Kallis.

My friend was very happy with the results.

I have no idea how much he payed but can imagine it isn't to cheap. He kept it very secretive until he turned up with hair after taking a few days leave.

Doubt it only took a few days. As far as I know hair transplants take a few weeks to heal and a while longer to start looking normal.

Also note that if you do hair transplants you're probably going to have to start finasteride to stop the balding process so that you don't end up going bald behind the transplanted hairline. Read up on the side effects a bit. You could also ask Ant_Man about Fin. I think he said last year that he's on it and results only start after a year or so.

Yeah it did look a bit strange after he first came back to work but then again going from bald to having hair also looks strange. I am not sure on the exact process as didn't ask to much information. My friend was already very self conscious about it.

No it was definitely implants.

Yeah, a buddy of mine first had this "hair system" thing (wig) they would glue to his scalp and change every so often -not sure of the amount of time. Then he did the transplant thing. It took about a month and a half to heal and the hair only actually started growing like four months later. They cut this strip from the side of his scalp.
So unless he (JK) had fake hair implanted, it's a wig-thing.

The full results of hair transplants take 9-12 months. Expect to pay around 30k.

Oh for ffs just keep on shaving your head, it's not the end of the world.

According to researchers women are subconsciously aroused by the phallic nature of a bald head and you'll look like a big baby.

Win.
