Hey Team

I have had hair loss to a certain extent for a couple of years and only really started considering doing something about it last year. Been using alpecin shampoo for just over a year and minoxidil for about 3 months, haven't really noticed a difference but it also hasn't really deteriorated a lot. Have you guys used any alternative products or investigate options from Hair loss studios ? Any recommendations / costs involved in the procedures? \

Thanks

Talk to your doc he'll give you something for that

Yeah....

Its called a razor.

I got a bald patch on the top of my head so I shaved to No. 1 for about a year. Lo and behold, it grew back and now I have no bald patch but my blond hair is now dark brown.

Dad was bald and gray at 21.
Thankfully I got my mother's hair.
42, no bald spots and no gray. Just in my beard.

Started developing at Sun roof at 18. Been keeping it trim and tight since.

It actually makes me look a bit younger.

Stop using Alpecin. It's useless.

I use 5% Minoxidil and my hair loss has stopped and my hair is a lot thicker. The hairline is still receded, but that won't go away with just Minoxidil. Sadly surgery is needed to fix that, but I'm comfortable with where mine is at this stage.
My hairloss has stopped and my hair looks fuller so I'm good with that.

I also use:

FOLIGAIN.N5 - 5% MINOXIDIL FOR MEN - LOW ALCOHOL (because the other ones dry out my scalp)
Foligain Hair Loss Treatment Shampoo for Men (every second day I wash my hair with this after I used another shampoo just to get rid of the oils first).

Nothing wrong with using Alpecin. It won't cure baldness by itself, however my demotogist recommended it over everything else due to its cleansing properties. Minoxidil 5% will work but only for the top of the head type of balding, not the receding hairline. Speak to your doc and get a prescription of propecia / finpecia (generic).

A combination of the tablets, minoxidil and good shampoo will slow down the process.

There was this guy on the forum selling a magic ring. Bet that would help. I can't find the thread now...

Ricoffy works best.. :D or so I heard.. no balding in my family, so I am looking forward to being a silver fox one day, sadly without the handsome that comes with being one..

I use alpecin and minoxidil (started this year ) . It has made a good difference . Doubt the shampoo helps at all but I like it

That must be horrible, I started greying a few years ago, now even my beard has started greying. Not nice seeing a daily reminder in the mirror that you are getting older.
